Our history
On Friday 20 May 1988 the company Púlsinn ehf. was founded in Akureyri by Sæmundur, a master electrician who serviced the machinery of Samband in the factories that stood where the Glerártorg shopping centre now stands at Gleráreyrar.
At the beginning of 2024 ownership of the company was divided between Birkir, Bjarki and Kristinn, who continue to run the business and carry on the service the company has built up since it was founded.
Certifications
Púlsinn holds a valid certification from the Environment Agency of Iceland for the handling of F-gas refrigerants.
All employees hold F-gas certification and have completed courses in the installation and servicing of CO2 systems at the Co2 Academy in the Netherlands.
Kristinn and Birkir are registered holders of valid master certificates.
